In "A Litany of Light", noted author and theologian Dr Carrie Gress offers us a whole host of holy helpers, all of whom faced down the darkness, all of whom know the difference that the Light of the World can and does make whenever He's welcomed into lives and hearts. She also sets us on the path to help others trapped in darkness, sometimes of their own making, sometimes wrought by others. So welcome light into your hearts and minds, and bring it to those most in need of God's mercy. Pray this litany, daily if you can, and become the light of the world (see Mt 5:14-16).
